About James
Mr. Rawley comes from an artist and lawyer genealogy. Unable to choose one, he has been a lawyer for 47 years while making art on the side filling in his own warehouse, now his own Fitigogo Gallery.
The gallery houses the 700-800 paintings and collages at 1014 Central SW, just west of Downtown Albuquerque. Besides the joy of seeing his work on display in a beautiful setting, the gallery seeks to sell almost all the work to those who will be glad to have it.
The categories of work range from the slop paintings, color abstracts, to his favorite palm trees, fish, sailboats, and then there are the political collages and paintings, the album cover fair use of 60’s imagery, the American Games 3D constructions and pretty junk.
Gallery is open by appointment and during events taking place almost monthly.
